At this point (when Paul said the Messiah would rise from the dead) Festus interrupted Paul’s defense. “You are out of your mind, Paul!” he shouted. “Your learning is driving you insane.” “I am not insane, most excellent Festus,” Paul replied. “What I am saying is true and reasonable. The king is familiar with these things, and I can speak freely to him. I am convinced that none of this has escaped his notice, because it was not done in a corner. (Acts 26:24-26)
Rising from the dead, going to heaven, living with God for eternity. Sounds like fantasy. Are we Christians out of our minds?
After I met Jesus, my self-image changed from poor to good. I found love in the right places instead of the wrong ones. I’ve lived guiltless instead of guilty, finding joy. I’ve experienced the miracles of birth and healing. I’ve realized that coincidences are God’s way of caring for me and that no problem is too big for the creator of the laws of science and the universe.
I look forward to God’s promise of resurrection when I’ll sit in Jesus’ lap and my imperfect parents will love me perfectly. And when I’ll be reunited with estranged family and friends because we’ll all have God’s perfect love.

Father, I praise You for the hope of seeing you face to face, sitting in the arms of Jesus, being reunited with my loved ones, and experiencing Your perfect love. No miracle is too difficult for you. Help me out of my corner to speak freely and spread Your love. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Non-Christians might think, “Why do Christians think that they can have it all?” We are not crazy or insane. We have been promised! Bless you and our families. When it is our time, we have so much to look forward to.
Yes, especially those of us who have unborn children in heaven whom we haven’t seen. I pray for those who call us crazy that they may know Jesus. Love you, Sis. Praying for your healing!
