About the Author

Jody Armstrong is a writer, blogger, physical therapist, and an enthusiastic Gator’s fan.  Her website, jodyarmstrong.org, is dedicated to encouraging individuals by illuminating God’s love through Scripture and devotionals. Although she did not major in creative writing, her Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from University of Florida required writing skills and her work included on-the-job training to touch people’s hearts.  Her goal is to develop strong bonds between her characters and readers so that when her characters are touched by God’s love, her readers will be also.  She began writing slowly at the age of 4, starting with her name, so she could check out library books and since that time has expressed herself through writing. She is currently completing her first novel, “Denial of the Enemy,” and has started writing a preschooler’s learn-to-read series, “Al‘fun’bet Angels.”

I have been married to my wonderful husband, Sam, for 35 years, and am the mother of 3 awesome grown children, Jennifer, Rebecca (married to Parker), and Sam, jr. I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Florida in 1984, and I have had a fulfilling career as a Physical Therapist. Sam and I met at University of Florida soon after he graduated with his Juris Doctorate Degree. My children are also graduates of the University of Florida, and we’re avid Gator fans. Sam and I reside in Ocala, Florida, and attend Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church. I have recently retired from Physical Therapy and have more time to write. My novel, “Denial of the Enemy,” is in its final stages and being edited by my daughter, Jennifer. I am also working on a series of Children’s Picture, Learn-to-Read Books, “Al’fun’bet Angels.” Because I want to deepen my relationship with God, I am an avid Bible Studier. I want to encourage and be encouraged by others who wish to be closer to God, so I am starting this Bible Study/Blog. Welcome!
